Tungevaag & Raaban paneb pillid kotti: viimane kontsert Tallinnas on veebruaris

Seitsmesed

Elektroonilise muusika duo Tungevaag & Raaban teatas eelmise aasta lõpus, et lõpetavad tegevuse ja Tallinnas ülesastumine 29. veebruaril klubis Hollywood on nende üks viimastest, kirjutab sky.ee.

Tungevaag & Raaban alustas tegevust 2015. aastal ja koosneb Norrast pärit Martin Tungevaagi ja rootsi päritolu Robbin Söderlundist. Euroopas palju tähelepanu pälvinud muusikute esimene ühislooming kandis nime „Samsara“. Singel viis nad Skandinaavia raadioedetabelite tippu ja tõi neile nominatsioonid mainekatel Norra ja Rootsi Grammydel.

Duo on oma tegutsemisaastate jooksul välja andnud üle tosina singli ja teinud koostööd mitmete vokalistidega, sealhulgas Isac Ellioti ja läinud aasta Eesti eurolauliku Victor Crone’iga. Duo on jõudnud mitmel korral ka Eestisse, sealhulgas Weekend Festival Balticule ja teinud koostööd paljude muusikutega, teiste seas Alan Walkeriga.

2019. aasta detsembris andsid muusikud sotsiaalmeedia vahendusel teada, et Tungevaag & Raaban lõpetab enda tegevuse. Fännidele tänulikud muusikud annavad enne soolokarjääridele pühendumist veel vaid viimased loetud kontserdid.

To all our fans: We hope this message finds you well! As some of you already noticed it’s been a bit quiet on our channels over the last couple of months. This is due to the fact that we have been busy planning new exciting things as well as making music. When we first started messaging on Facebook with each other about making a track, we could have never imagined what would happen. Since Samsara came out we have been on a rollercoaster of emotions together, which brought so much joy to us and we hope to you as well! This is why we want to thank you- the T&R family - for being such a strong backbone and supporting us from day one! We could have never achieved anything of this without you, so thank you from the bottom of our hearts! While we care for each other dearly and have become brothers over the last couple of years, as hard has the decision was for us we felt it’s time we need to pursue some new challenges. This being said we remain brothers forever but creatively we will pursue different goals and paths. We want to thank all the people working with us over the last years and all of our supporters and of course the T&R fam. We could have never done this without any of you! We can’t wait for you to check out the stuff we have been working on (some is already out) and hope you follow us along our solo journeys! BUT since we thought we can’t just disappear like this we planned a couple last shows together which meant a lot of us. One last run and partying together! Dates for these shows will be annouced in the coming days. Thanks for all the support & see you soon, Martin & Robbin
